After surviving two riots, birthing the notorious Grape St. Crips, and starring in the film “Menace II Society”, The 700+ low-income housing units that make up this neighborhood are being torn down.
Drew Bachrach was granted unprecedented access to capture this moment in Jordan Downs’ history and Watts Waits serves as a last look at the 73-year-old cultural icon.
